Choreographing A fitness/dance routine

September 3rd, 2009

Michelle Anzalone is getting ready to compete in the OCB Fitness and figure competition next April and has asked me to work with her on choreography.

My job is to choreograph a routine that combines dance, kickboxing and the required poses of the competition.  We chose the song “Run The Show” by Kat Deluna.  I was stuck for a couple of weeks on what to do but then yesterday afternoon we spent hours at the gym and I believe we have finished the routine and we’re pretty happy with it.  Now we practice… over and over and over til it’s perfect! It’s fun to use my dance and choreography abilities for something other than my Zumba classes.
