Everything I Ever Was and Will Ever Be
Wednesday, September 30th, 2009Yesterday’s reading, from the book “Yoga in America”. The book has 46 essays written by yoga teachers and devotees and celebrates the diversity of Yoga in America. There is even a chapter by local Maureen Spencer who owns Inner Peace. The chapter is Everything I ever was and will ever be, 1st page and last paragraph;

And sometimes, in the evening, when the moon is just so in the sky, when it’s shape eclipses my emotions and it’s luminosity shames the stars, I’ll salute it too, even though it’s way up there and I’m way down here, because it’s yoga.
When it’s coming down so hard, such that I can’t tell my tears from the rain, when everything that could be wrong, is wrong, despite my efforts or lack there of…that’s yoga. (more…)
